PNP chief assures due process for celebrity surrenderees

MANILA—PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) Chief Ronald dela Rosa said yesterday that celebrities who would voluntarily present themselves to the authorities and admit their involvement in the illegal drugs will not immediately be jailed.

Dela Rosa said just like the other surrenderees in the administration’s anti-illegal drugs campaign, the celebrities who used to be involved in illegal drugs will be given a chance to change.
