New dishes at Choobi Choobi

-

Cebu- based restaurant chain Choobi Choobi has captured the hearts and stomachs of the Filipino market by serving the freshest farm-to-table seafood and other delectable Filipino comfort food at affordable prices. In order to keep its customers happy, Choobi Choobi is committed to regularly introducing new and exciting dishes.

Its latest signature dish is Stan's Black Pepper Shrimp version 2.0, a variant of its very popular predecessor Stan's black pepper shrimp.

Stan Tanchan, chief and executive chef of Choobi Choobi is very proud of his latest creation. “I'm sure that people who love spicy food would love the version 2.0. It has more sauce and a stronger black pepper flavor. It is inspired from Singaporean black pepper shrimp,” Tanchan said.

After a hearty meal, there should always be room for dessert. Choobi Choobi brought the latest dessert craze from Taiwan: Snow Ice. It is a median of ice cream and the traditional shaved ice dessert. It comes in a ribbon-like texture topped with succulent black pearls, fresh fruits and coconut cracker (Salvaro). It comes in different flavors: strawberry, melon, pandan, mango and chocolate.

To quench the thirst: pineapple cucumber and cucumber lime juice.

For those who want saucy food, Choobi Choobi has a new food category: Saucing Saucy. In the menu are callos, balbacua, kare-kare and lengua.

“What's special with our callos and balbacua is that we don't use canned and processed sauces. We make our sauces from scratch with the freshest tomatoes and other ingredients,” Tanchan added.
