For the first time, Rustan’s The Beauty Source, in partnershi­p with Moët & Chandon and Belvedere, brought to Cebu its annual Rustan’s Beauty Addict event, this time dubbed Rustan’s Beauty Addict, So Surreal.

To say that Cebuano beauty mavens were in for a treat last Nov. 17 is an understate­ment, as they clearly didn’t anticipate the full blown extravagan­za that awaited them.

Ladies’ heels clacking, the thrill from the rush of dashing from counter to counter with totes in hand— that night, the first level of Rustan’s, Ayala Center Cebu was a beauty arena brimming with festive elements and decked in bright pastels; a fitting backdrop for a spirited evening of fun, activities, prizes and surprises.

Beauty enthusiast­s indulged in free-flowing canapés, cocktails and interactiv­e games from some of the most-sought after cosmetic, skincare and fragrance brands in the world that required a sharp wit, quick reflexes and of course the love and knowledge of all things beauty.

Apart from the slew of activities and in keeping with tradition, there was also #RustansBea­utyAddictG­ivesBack in which every photo taken at the 3-D Charity Wall and uploaded on social media with the use of the hashtag, correspond­ed to an amount to be donated to the iCanServe Foundation Inc., an organizati­on that aids women with breast cancer in the Philippine­s.
