“As of this time, the BI has not receive the Ilbo. Commissioner Jaime Morente assures that as soon as it is received, BI will immediately implement the order,” she said.
Mangrobang added, “Morente reiterates BI’s SOP that Ilbo’s in all internationals ports uniformly apply departure protocols on passengers in the bureau’s derogatory record. Hence, the public is assured that BI shall not extend any special treatment to the said officials.”
Those who are in the order will not be pre- vented from leaving the country, but it will inform the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on the attempt by the said individuals to leave the country.
Whereabouts
The government agencies will be informed about the details of their flight, itineraries and/or whereabouts.
The subjects got involved in a recent controversy where Argosino and Robles allegedly asked for P50 million from Jack Lam, an alleged online gambling operator for the release of 600 Chinese nationals.
