3 persons of interest considered in murder of bizman
POLICE are now considering three persons of interest who may be behind the ambush-slay of a businessman in Middle Nivel Hills in Barangay Apas, Cebu City last Wednesday.
According to PO3 Winston Ybañez of the Homicide Section, a witness will help investigators in coming up with a sketch of the person who gunned down Felipe Angan-Angan, 67, inside his car.
“Someone saw him driving the getaway motorcycle, but we’re still verifying that information,” Ybañez told Sun. Star Cebu.
The team of homicide investigators assigned to the case is tracing the whereabouts of some persons, including a former gang member, whom the victim had misunderstanding prior to the attack.
“During our follow-up, we did not get his name because he was not known there. He was not from the place,” said Ybañez, referring to the gunman.
Ybañez said that a person had threatened to kill AnganAngan prior to the ambush.
Homicide investigators are also securing a footage of the close-circuit television camera, which was set up nearby.
Homicide investigators will also check the Cebu City Police Office’s rogues gallery, a collection of photos of people who have been arrested for some offenses, to find out if the descriptions given by the witness would much with the gunman’s descriptions.
In an earlier interview, PO3 Dario Manatad said that the victim have no known enemies of the place except for one whom he had a fight with.
Angan-Angan was shot in front of his 16-year-old granddaughter by a gunman who reportedly waited for him outside his house. JOB
