Both Alvarez, Robredo’s ratings dropped: SWS
VICE President Leni Robredo retained a “good” net satisfaction rating but nevertheless suffered a 12-point drop in December, according to a survey by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) released yesterday.
Results of the Dec. 3 to 6 survey showed that about 58 percent of 1,500 respondents were satisfied with Robredo’s performance, 21 percent were dissatisfied while 20 percent were ambivalent on the matter.
The Vice President obtained a “good” + 37 net satisfaction score, lower by 12 points compared to “good” +49 she registered in September.
Robredo thanked the public and assured them that she is “listening to [their] voice” so she could be able to serve them better.

Meanwhile, the SWS found in the same survey that the net satisfaction ratings of the three other high-ranking officials also plunged.
The survey showed that Senate President Aquilino Pimentel III’s net satisfaction score slipped seven points, to “good” +30 in December from “good” +37 in September.
Forty-nine percent of the respondents said they were satisfied with Pimentel, while 18 percent expressed dissatisfaction.
House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez, on the other hand, yielded a “moderate” +10 net satisfaction rating, a fall of 13 points from September’s “moderate” +22.
Some 33 percent respondents were satisfied with Alvarez’s performance, while 23 percent were dissatisfied.
Also, Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno received a net satisfaction score of “moderate” +15 (37% satisfied, 32% dissatisfied), down 10 points from the “personal record-high” +26 she obtained in September.
The survey used sampling error margins of ±3 percent for national percentages, ±4 percent for Balance Luzon, and ±6 percent each for Metro Manila, Visayas, and Mindanao.
