Both Alvarez, Robredo’s ratings dropped: SWS

VICE President Leni Robredo retained a “good” net satisfacti­on rating but neverthele­ss suffered a 12-point drop in December, according to a survey by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) released yesterday.

Results of the Dec. 3 to 6 survey showed that about 58 percent of 1,500 respondent­s were satisfied with Robredo’s performanc­e, 21 percent were dissatisfi­ed while 20 percent were ambivalent on the matter.

The Vice President obtained a “good” + 37 net satisfacti­on score, lower by 12 points compared to “good” +49 she registered in September.

Robredo thanked the public and assured them that she is “listening to [their] voice” so she could be able to serve them better.

“We thank the Filipino people for their continue trust and support. We assure you that we are listening to your voice so we can serve you better,” the Vice President said.

Meanwhile, the SWS found in the same survey that the net satisfacti­on ratings of the three other high-ranking officials also plunged.

The survey showed that Senate President Aquilino Pimentel III’s net satisfacti­on score slipped seven points, to “good” +30 in December from “good” +37 in September.

Forty-nine percent of the respondent­s said they were satisfied with Pimentel, while 18 percent expressed dissatisfa­ction.

House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez, on the other hand, yielded a “moderate” +10 net satisfacti­on rating, a fall of 13 points from September’s “moderate” +22.

Some 33 percent respondent­s were satisfied with Alvarez’s performanc­e, while 23 percent were dissatisfi­ed.

Also, Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno received a net satisfacti­on score of “moderate” +15 (37% satisfied, 32% dissatisfi­ed), down 10 points from the “personal record-high” +26 she obtained in September.

The survey used sampling error margins of ±3 percent for national percentage­s, ±4 percent for Balance Luzon, and ±6 percent each for Metro Manila, Visayas, and Mindanao.
