The season to give

The Christmas season has gone in full swing. From crisscrossing around busy shoppers in packed malls, to navigating busy streets and attending Christmas parties left and right, it’s easy for us to get caught up in the moment and lose track of the true essence of Christmas: the season for giving.

This Christmas season, Bubble Pencil Technologies, a small, Cebubased technology and design startup, brought smiles to the city’s indigent through its recently held “Share and Give a Toy project,” where the company gave away used toys to the children in the Badjao community in Cebu. The company felt that these children also would like to know what Christmas is truly like for the rest of the people.

Bubble Pencil Technologies is composed of professionals specializing in web development and design, mobile apps, ERP and CRM systems. Bubble Pencil Technologies is a design studio agency specializing in web development, mobile application and ERP-CRM systems to provide and give support to private foreign and local investors namely business process outsourcing companies, hospitals, the transportation, banking/finance and food/retail industry and real estate companies.

The founder Julius Apelanio’s vision: To offer services to help companies increase productivity by becoming an extension to their team and reducing office staffing overhead, while producing customized ERP systems and Mobile Applications for company businesses/modern mobilization.

Giving back to the community is something rooted deep in their mission. As such, they plan to continue this Christmas tradition next year and give back to the community and street children.
