PRICE-OFF PARTY FOR SM2SM RUN

AS A treat to runners, SM City Cebu will hold a SM2SM Run Price-Off Party on Jan. 7 at the Northwing Atrium of SM City Cebu.

The 7th SM2SM Run is slated on Feb. 19 in SM City Cebu, and as part of its seventh year, the organizers will be giving away free slots during the Price-Off Party.

In the Price-Off Party, the first 77 to register will get free registration in any category. The first seven registrants to show their SM2SM Run finishers’ medals for the past six years will also get free registration; the first seven to show their singlet from the first edition to sixth edition will likewise get free registration.

All registrants during the SM2SM Run Year 7 Price-Off party will also have the chance to win one out of seven raffle items.

Field

Organizers of the 7th SM2SM Run, which will start and end at the Northwing parking area of SM City Cebu, is projecting to draw a total of 7,000 runners in the men’s and women’s 21-kilometer, 12K, 7K and 3K categories.

Over P500,000 in cash prizes will be given away to the winning runners. The men’s and women’s 21K champion will walk away with P70,000 each, second placers will get P40,000 and P25,000 for the third placers.

The 12K champions will get P20,000, P10,000 for the 7K, and P5,000 for the 3K.

Meanwhile, the top runner in the 21K foreign category will receive P15,000, while P10,000 will go to the 12K foreign category winner.

Beneficiaries

The SM2SM Run kicks off at 4:30 a.m. with the 21K category and will be followed by the rest of the categories. The race is for the benefit of the Cebu News Workers Foundation, Inc. and Children of Cebu Foundation.

Registration fee is at P800 for the 21K, P650 for the 12, P450 for the 7K and P450 for the 3K. The Price-Off registration rate will only be until this Saturday.
