ANTHONY GETS IN BETWEEN LOPEZ, DRAKE
Jennifer Lopez and Drake seemed inseparable the past few days, even ringing in the New Year together—Lopez canceled a New Year’s Eve performance in Miami and was instead photographed attending Drake’s New Year’s Eve concert in Las Vegas.
But E! News has learned that Marc Anthony thinks the coupling is just a ploy to drum up publicity as the two musicians are reportedly working on new music together.
Just last November, Anthony and Lopez shared a kiss on stage at the 2016 Latin Grammy Awards, surprising the audience. Days later it was announced that Anthony was divorcing wife Shannon De Lima.
Fans were hoping Anthony and Lopez, who were married from 2004 to 2014, would get back together.
But in December, Drake was seen attending Lopez’s Las Vegas concert twice. And just like that, they were photographed together in several events. They even posted the same cozy photo in their respective Instagram accounts.
Meanwhile, Us Weekly magazine is reporting that Lopez was granted a restraining order against a stalker who reportedly has a history of violence.
Lopez’s camp filed a petition for a restraining order against Timothy McLanahan, who reportedly sent Lopez flowers and was once arrested for driving into the singer and actress’ property.
While the hearing will culminate on Jan. 24 yet, a judge has granted a temporary restraining order so that McLanahan would have to stay at least 100 yards away from Lopez, her kids Max and Emme, and her property as well as workplace.
