Acer keeps Cebuanos ‘Kong-nected’ seminar

Local tech giant Acer Philippines Inc. held its first Acer Academy Program Seminar outside Metro Manila and brought Francis Kong to the Queen City of the South to give Cebuanos the opportunity to get “Kong-nected.”

Acer met with its partners under the Acer Academy program. The tech- nology titan gathered its partners for an exclusive session where they were provided with fresh updates on the latest state-ofthe-art products from Acer, plus other developments from its global partner, software king Microsoft.

Acer brought to Cebu its campaign ambassador, top inspirational speaker, newspaper columnist, author and award-winning business consultant, Francis Kong.

With its theme: Are you Kong-nected?, Kong provided an exclusive learning experience on the latest techniques on teaching and community building and how to utilize technology to its fullest potential. Among his other topics include getting connected to what teachers teach, defining gaps, connecting and what educators should do, and even the progress in being connected.

Acer also acknowledged its newest Platinum members of the Acer Academy program in Cebu. The Acer Academy 2016 awardees are the University of Cebu-Banilad Campus, Cebu Technological University, University of San Jose-Recoletos, Leyte Normal University, ACT International Educational Foundation, and Negros Oriental State University.
