-

Vibrant colors, resounding beats, roaring spirits—it’s that time of the year again for Sinulog, the biggest festival of the country, and everyone’s favorite fun brand Island Souvenirs leads the party.

Now on its fifth year, Islands Souvenirs takes fiesta fever up a notch with Bling It On: Cut and Style 2017, the brand’s biggest Sinulog campaign featuring all-new special edition Sinulog t-shirt designs that can be personalized and customized. This year, Islands Souvenirs is bringing back Hollywood master cutter and celebrity stylist Adam Saaks on Saturday, Jan. 14 at Ayala Center Cebu.

Following annual tradition, the campaign’s highlight will be a fashion show at The Northwing Atrium, SM City Cebu. This year’s show, which will be open to the public, is on Friday, Jan. 13, 6 p.m. Apart from Cary Santiago coming back for the second time with an exclusive collection, what makes this year’s show extra special is that his creations will be worn by male and female pageant winners and title holders, including Miss Tourism Queen International 2006 Justine Gabionza, Bb. Pilipinas World 2009 Marie Ann Umali, Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2013 Joanna Cindy Miranda, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2014 Yvethe Santiago, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2014 Kris Janson, and Mr. World Philippines 2016 Sam Ajdani.

The show will also feature local personalities including young entrepreneurs, Cebu’s most creative set, and some adorable two- to eight-year-olds. Raine Baljak, the face of this year’s Cut and Style campaign, as well as social media sensations Medyo Maldito and Snake Princess will also be taking the runway. This year, Islands Souvenirs has also collaborated with Anthill Fabric Gallery, a social enterprise which supports Filipino weaving communities, and internationally-renowned creative studio Happy Garaje, for the first time.

While Islands Souvenirs is offering their cut and style service for the fifth year, this is only the fourth year of the fashion show that has become an annual tradition that the city looks forward to.
