Walking into Dice Kong, the place is simple and unassuming, laidback and chill. But a quick glance at the shelf and one can instantly be treated to a sensory overload with the number of board games this place has. From simple and quick games to learn such as “Spot It,” “Halli Galli,” to games like “Settlers of Catan,” “Ticket to Ride,” “Splendor” and “Survive” that can last for more than an hour, the possibilities are endless. Monthly tournaments, to be known as the Jungle Smash, are set to become a mainstay, with different board games to be featured. Plus, the long operating hours also allow everyone to have a good time. From Sunday to Thursday, Dice Kong closes at midnight, while Friday and Saturday, the cafe extends up to 2 a.m. just so one can play to his heart’s content.
