NBI arrests sister of suspected drug lord

In a news conference yesterday, Osmeña said Doria has been giving him daily reports on their operations and the illegal drugs confiscate­d by them.

“I get daily reports from Doria, which, to tell you frankly, even the previous (CCPO) chief (Benjamin Santos) was not doing,” he said.

Doria was designated by Police Regional Office 7 Noli Taliño as head of CCPO in July last year.

Doria was Taliño’s former subordinat­e in the Special Action Force.

Despite the continued fight against illegal drugs, though, Osmeña said the City Government and police should improve its measures in ending the trade.
