Kids receive gifts, support from JiKFi

At least 40 beneficiar­ies of the Dream Project for children with special needs were treated to a Christmas party organized by the Juanito I. King Foundation Inc. ( JIKFI) and sponsored by Arlyn Roxas and company.

The beneficiar­ies received gifts and enjoyed food and games during the party, which was held at the gym of Barangay Tinago, Cebu City last Dec. 10.

Jinky Balcos and Mary Grace Mercado of King Properties donated food and toys, respective­ly, while volunteers from Juanito King and Sons Inc. assisted JIKFI staff during the event.

Meanwhile, the Barili Government, through the Municipal Social Welfare Office, organized the Christmas Party for 27 Dream Project beneficiar­ies and their families last Dec. 13.

Children with special needs received gifts and tokens from the foundation, King Properties staff, consultant occupation­al and physical therapists, and Qualfon Philippine­s Inc., a BPO company based in IT Park.

During the event, Barili Mayor Marlon Garcia and JIKFI executive director Kenneth Raymund King signed a memorandum of agreement ensuring continuous quality therapy service for children who need early therapy interventi­on.

In a separate event, the foundation presented Christmas gifts to 450 Grade 1 pupils of Subangdaku Elementary School.

Gift bags containing school supplies, slippers and raincoats were distribute­d with the help of volunteers from JKSI on Dec. 16.

JIKFI’s Dream Project helps children with special needs achieve their utmost potential. It provides timely, relevant, updated subsidized therapy services for early interventi­on programs.
