Despite the unkind words thrown toward our very own representative to the Ms. Universe pageant, Maxine Medina, I still have high hopes that she’ll be among the standouts come Monday, the coronation day. Whether she’ll answer the question all by herself in English or in Tagalog, with the help of an interpreter (the first Philippine representative to do so, if I’m not mistaken), I believe she can produce something good from the gray matter in between her ears.

Her early martial arts training made her action scenes very convincing. So what will happen to her character now? The easiest way is to kill the character.

Some photos were said to be leaked but insiders say Kylie’s character will resurface. Whatever!

Starting this year, Star Cinema will release foreign films. Its initial venture is the Jackie Chanstarrer Kung Fu Yoga. The action-comedy movie will hit the wide screens on Wednesday.
