Despite the unkind words thrown toward our very own representative to the Ms. Universe pageant, Maxine Medina, I still have high hopes that she’ll be among the standouts come Monday, the coronation day. Whether she’ll answer the question all by herself in English or in Tagalog, with the help of an interpreter (the first Philippine representative to do so, if I’m not mistaken), I believe she can produce something good from the gray matter in between her ears.

Many Oslobanons excitedly gathered at the area near the municipal heritage park last Wednesday.
