Pael, Demecillo set vs. Moloney twins

-

Renoel Pael and Marco Demecillo are both geared up for war against the highly-touted Moloney twins this Friday night at the Adelaide Oval in North Adelaide, Australia.

Pael trades leathers with Andrew Moloney, while Demecillo squares off with Jason Moloney in the undercard of the Anthony Mundine vs. Danny Green boxing show.

“They have trained really well. They are ready for a brawl,” trainer Brix Flores told Sun.Star Cebu.

Pael and Demecillo, accompanied by Rex Wakee Salud (RWS) International matchmaker Willy Flores, left for Australia last night.

Pael and Demecillo are both huge underdogs against the Moloney brothers.

Brix, however, believes that, though slim, both Pael and Demecillo have a chance of scoring an upset.

“Our chance of winning is a knockout. That’s what you have to do to win in enemy territory. Our boxers are well prepared. The fans should be in for a treat because they are ready for war,” said Brix.

Pael and Demecillo have been working as main sparring partners for each other. They have also been sparring with Joey Canoy, Melmark Dignos and Elias Joaquino.

The Moloney brothers have spent the last part of their training camp here in the Cebu, at the ALA Gym.

They have had some quality sparring. Andrew has sparred against former world title challenger Arthur Villanueva, while Jason traded leathers with Raul Yu and Virgel Vitor.

Pael is 21-4-1 with 11 knockouts, while Andrew is 11-0 with seven knockouts.

Marco, in the meantime, is 22-6-1 with 16 knockouts, while Jason is 11-0 with 10 knockouts.
