CEBU PAC SUSPENDS SURIGAO FLIGHTS

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippine­s has restricted operations at the Surigao Airport in Surigao City, due to runway damage brought about by the 6.7 magnitude earthquake that struck the area last Feb. 10. The suspension started last Saturday and is expected to be lifted on March 10.

Cebu Pacific announced its adherence to the advice over the weekend.

Affected passengers may be accommodat­ed via mounted Cebu-Butuan-Cebu flights or avail of any of the following options, without penalties: Rebook their flights for travel within 30 days from original departure date, reroute their flights to alternate stations (Cebu or Bacolod) within 30 days from original departure date or opt for a full refund or travel fund.
