BROTHERS SHOT FOR LAUGHING SO LOUD

Two brothers were shot and wounded in Sitio Lower Laguerta, Barangay Lahug, Cebu City yesterday dawn. Rolando Batac, 43, and his brother Raymundo, 39, were having a drinking session with their other relatives and were about to go home when they were shot by unidentified gunmen. Investigation revealed that the victims were laughing loudly, which is believed to be the reason the assailants got angry. The gunmen were not from the area but were drinking near the victims. The brothers are recovering at the Cebu City Medical Center. /
