Too old for Bb.
Ifelt sad upon knowing that Ms. Earth-Air 2012 Stephany Stefanowitz did not make it to the elite list of Bb. Pilipinas 2017 hopefuls due to a technicality: over-age.
Why did Stephany wait at least five years? She could have been an easy choice to complete the lineup had she made the move earlier. Sigh.
Stephany is a Psalmstre Enterprises endorser along with Kapamilya actor Ejay Falcon, Lawrence Mossman and Mr. World 2016 1st Runner-up Fernando Alvarez. My sense of Cebuano pride swelled as I watched Pilita Corrales being featured in the Sunday show ASAP last weekend. Some Visayan songstresses like Dulce, Dessa and Jaya along with
ASAP regulars Zsa Zsa Padilla, Jona and Mariz, sang songs (Visayan, Tagalog and English) that were popularized by Pilita, Asia’s Queen of Songs.
I smiled as some of the singers copied the “trademark” bend that characterized every Pilita performance then and now.
*** Piolo Pascual’s latest movie Northern Lights is scheduled to be shown on March 29. I am still clueless to the details of the movie up to this writing.
What is good to the loyal followers of Papa P is that your idol is coming again to Cebu to promote the movie. Just keep posted.
*** Three child endorsers of consumer products (cheese, snack food made of sweet corn and crab meat, and a fabric conditioner) have impressed me with the facial expressions and voice projections.
I can still remember Marco Masa’s first commercial (a toothpaste brand) where he effectively portrayed the role of an inquisitive pre-schooler.
