Aside from looking at the clients features, match the look with her personality. At the end of the day, it’s the client’s face and how she feel about the results that matters most.

For aspiring makeup artists:

Take your time because you’ll eventually get to the part where you’ll be fast at it. You’d want them to look good no matter how long it takes because speed will come later on. It shouldn’t be half-baked.

Makeup no no:

Don’t overdo the contour especially on the nose. The nose is not the focal point; it’s either the eyes, the window to the soul, or the lips.
