BRGY. CHIEF SAYS HE WON'T APPEAL HIS SUSPENSION

Cubacub Barangay Captain Almario Bihag of Mandaue City will no longer appeal to the City Council to reconsider its decision suspending him for 60 days over administrative complaints. Last Wednesday, the Mandaue City Council approved the suspension of Bihag after finding him guilty of two administrative complaints for misconduct. The City Council’s committee on good government, public ethics and accountability, led by Councilor Nenita Layese, recommended Bihag’s suspension. The cases were filed by Rolita Balane and Winnie Sicad./
