AXA Philippines, one of the country’s leading and fastest- growing life insurance companies in the country, was borne out of the formidable synergy between Metrobank, one of the foremost financial institutions in the Philippines, and AXA, a global leader in insurance and asset management serving 107 million customers in 64 countries.

In response to the rapid growth of the Visayas insurance market, AXA Philippines recently rebranded its regional office in Cebu, and launched it as the AXA Center.

The new center further boosts AXA’s presence in the Visayas and is located on the eighth floor of the Metrobank Plaza, Fuente Osmeña Blvd., Cebu City. This is AXA’s sixth branch here in the Queen City of the South and it is set to expand even more.

“In the last 17 years, we have seen a steady growth in the Visayas market. We believe this is an opportune time to further expand our presence here. With the launch of the AXA Center in Cebu, our sales network will be able to maximize the growth potential in the region, while we provide innovative financial solutions that meet our clients’ evolving needs,” said Marie Raymundo, chief distribution officer of AXA Philippines.

“We aim to reach more Filipinos and give them access to financial solutions for their health, retirement and investment needs,” adds Geoff Tan, chief agency officer of AXA Philippines, “as well as help them protect their assets by offering motor car, fire and personal accident insurance.”

Last year, AXA recorded a total premium income of P21.5 billion, driven by the strong performance of the business. By the end of 2016, AXA Philippines had over 3,000 agents and over 700 financial executives servicing more than 900 Metrobank and PSBank branches nationwide.
