3 LONE KILLER OF RETIRED COP STILL UNIDENTIFIED

Police are still clueless on the identity of the gunman who killed a retired police officer in Barangay Luz, Cebu City last Tuesday night. Cebu City Police Office Information Officer Ramoncelio Sawan said homicide investigators are looking for the motive in the killing of Pedrito Caburnay, 60. Caburnay’s reported involvement in the anti-drug campaign may have earned the ire of drug groups. He was reportedly an asset of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 7. Caburnay was outside his house when the lone perpetrator shot him in the head. /
