‘THERE’S A WAR’

At the time President Duterte said “There’s a war. Fighting on the streets in Marawi itself,” the mayor of Marawi City, Majul Gandamra, had already said (as of Wednesday or yesterday morning) “tension has died down and City Hall has been secured.”

Maybe Duterte reported the condition of the preceding night when the same mayor said, “We’re not okay.”
