-

Cebu’s favorite Japanese boy is rolling up a fun activity for maki and food lovers out there. Sushi Boy’s Teach You How to Maki is a fun activity where one can learn the basics of making one’s own maki.

The maki sushi is easily an all-time favorite Japanese food. It is made of sushi, raw vegetables, and rice wrapped in seaweed sheet. Maki comes in different rolls and using a variety of ingredients. So, there’s always a maki to suit one’s taste buds.

Sushi Boy’s own maki chef, who trained with the head chef from Royal Caribbean Cruises, will be teaching participants the basics of rolling a maki, plus the tricks of the trade.

Everyone gets the chance to win a pass for the maki-making class by simply following Sushi Boy on Facebook or Instagram @ SushiBoyOfficial and sharing the post publicly to friends.

Every week, ten winners are randomly chosen to participate in the class. Each winner gets a free pass to the class. Maki-making classes are scheduled every Saturday throughout the month of June from 3 to 5 p.m.

Aside from learning three maki recipes, each participant will get a takeaway bag and goodies from Sushi Boy. They also get to take home the maki sushi they made during class. It’s a fun activity that one can try out for oneself or give away to someone special.

Sushi Boy Japanese-Inspired Restaurant is located along Ouano Avenue, North Reclamation Area, Subangdaku, Mandaue City and is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.
