14 ALLEGED DRUG PUSHERS NABBED IN LAPU RAIDS

The illegal drugs confiscate­d by authoritie­s since Tuesday weigh more than 100 grams.

Fourteen alleged drug pushers were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Lapu-Lapu City in two days. The Lapu-Lapu City Police seized around 114.43 grams of white crystals believed to be shabu worth P1.35 million. The raids took place in Barangays Mactan, Pusok and Pajac. Most of those arrested are in the police’s drug list.

Police caught 14 suspected drug pushers in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Lapu-Lapu City over the past two days.

The Drug Enforcemen­t Unit seized 114.43 grams of white crystals believed to shabu worth P1.35 million.

At 2:50 a.m. yesterday, operatives arrested Renante Aton Igot, 32; Renante Aying Maloloy-on, 42; and Restie John Augusto Maloloy-on, 20, in Max Center, Barangay Mactan.

They yielded 25.87 grams of suspected shabu worth P305,266.

Fifty minutes earlier, police seized 0.69 grams of suspected shabu worth P8,142 from Annuar Pacaldo Pacoltad, 37, and Ralph Alfonso Alpahando Paler, 41, in Barangay Pusok.

In Sitio Bukid-bukid, Barangay Pajac, police also arrested Philip Amistad Ompad, 25, and Nolven Lesbe Ompad, 32, at 5:50 a.m.

Confiscate­d from the suspects were 55 grams of suspected shabu worth P649,000.

Last Tuesday afternoon, seven more suspected drug pushers and users were caught in separate buy-busts.

Suspects Jose Delfin Intong Sullano, 56; Ralph Villacrosi­s Sullano, 30; Rondell Villacrosi­s Sullano, 22; and Rodolfo Ewayan Sullano, 61, were caught at 5:40 p.m. in Barangay Marigondon.

Seized from them were 31.24 grams of shabu worth P368,632.

Chief Insp. Mark Gifter Sucalit, Lapu-Lapu City Intelligen­ce Branch chief, said that the operation’s main target was Jose Delfin, whom he described as a high-value target.

Jose Delfin was included in their list of drug personalit­ies.

At 6:15 p.m., police seized 1.63 grams of shabu worth P19,234, from Katrina Mae Libradilla, 29; Ramil Glorian Cañizares, 33; and Marlou Herrera Alibong, 19, in Purok Gemelina, Baranagay Poblacion.

The suspects will face complaints for violating the Comprehens­ive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /
