What Dunst really thinks about new 'Spider-Man'

-

They're milking it. This was Kirsten Dunst's candid reaction to the Spiderman reboots starring Andrew Garfield in two films: The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and the latest one starring Tom Holland, Spider-Man: Homecoming, coming out this month.

“We made the best ones, so who cares? I’m like, 'You make it all you want.' They’re just milking that cow for money. It’s so obvious. You know what I mean?” Dunst, 35, told Marie Claire UK magazine.

Dunst starred in three SpiderMan films between 2002 and 2007 with Tobey Maguire in the titular role. The first film featured the iconic kiss between Mary Jane (Dunst) and Peter (Maguire), who was hanging upside-down from a web in his Spider-Man costume.

The actress, who will soon be seen in Sofia Coppola's The Beguiled, has been working since she was three years old. In the same interview, Dunst said she is ready to start a family.

“It's time to have babies and chill,” she said. Dunst is engaged to her Fargo co-star Jesse Plemons.

“I wasn’t one of those 'I need a baby!' people until my goddaughter was born. I love her so much. That love is just like… you can’t experience that unless you have a kid. I put her to bed last night and she woke up this morning and said to her mom, 'Where’s Kiki?' I just love that love. That’s what I want,” Dunst gushed.
