It was a red-letter day for Nissan Cebu Central president Brian Chua when the Nissan Cebu Central Flagship Showroom was unveiled on his birthday. Located on A. Soriano Ave. at the North Reclamation Area, the spanking new showroom features state-of-the-art facilities and has the latest models on display. “Rediscover excitement” was the call of the day.
Over in Highway Linao in Talisay, the Gateway group opened the very modern Nissan Cebu South showroom a day earlier. Frontliners were Gateway president Markane Goho and executive vice president Michael Goho.
○○○ SM City Cebu’s annual Glitterati fashion event for teens has now given birth to Glitterati Kids with the young ones (pre-teens) doing the fashion walk. But of course, the proud Dads and Moms were around, and the doting Lolos and Lolas too!
○○○ For the fashionista Moms, there was a very interesting afternoon at Rustan’s Ayala when Portuguese designer Ricardo Preto held a styling session showcasing his exclusive collections. One collection focused on a put-together/sophisticated look, while the other one gave out a more casual feel. Preto is known for his structured fabrics, minimalist lines and fitted silhouettes. He is an expert in mixing and matching pieces.
○○○ Marco Polo Plaza Cebu celebrated our country’s Independence Day with a culinary journey dubbed Independencia at Cafe Marco.
