PAWNSHOP IN DANAO LOST P2.2M WORTH OF JEWELRY

Two thieves broke into a pawnshop and stole P2.2 million worth of jewelry in Barangay Poblacion, Danao City over the weekend. The burglary was discovered yesterday morning by Francia Castro, employee of Montaña Pawnshop on Rizal St. Investigators led by PO3 Roselo Campo identified one of the suspects as Marvin Tawanga who, along with his unidentified cohort, also allegedly stole P50,000 worth of phones and watches and P2,431 cash from the vault. PO1 Gerome Pesidas said that a team is pursuing the suspects. /
