POLICE: EID'L FITR IN CEBU CITY 'PEACEFUL'

The Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) said that the end of the month-long celebration of Ramadan was generally peaceful. CCPO Director Senior Supt. Joel Doria said that the intelligence and Muslim community worked together in monitoring the peace and order situation in the city for their holiest month. “Intel operatives and Muslim leaders worked overtime to prevent any spillovers of terrorists from Marawi City. So far, we have not received reports of their presence here in Cebu but still, we will not be complacent,” Doria said. /
