- LUIS A. QUIBRANZA III, DENEB R. BATUCAN / Writers

Answer the five scenarios under Column A and Column B using the numbers provided in the Answer Meter. After, follow the Score Guide to figure out which Game of Thrones character you are based on the everyday Cebu lifestyle. Column A scenarios: 1) You’re coming from the Cebu Provincial Capitol and you have to drive through Escario St. and pass Banilad in the middle of rush-hour traffic to get home. During your trip, you notice that some drivers just don’t understand the concept of junction boxes. Also, jeepneys just stop in the middle of the road to pick up passengers. 2) You spent some months away from Cebu for work. You come back and you want to try out some Cebu lechon. You ask your friend out for dinner but apparently find out that all the lechon in town are sold out by 8 p.m. 3) You’re ready to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Cebu but not sure if you want to drive all the way north or south for them. You decide to go islandhopping instead. Just about when you reach the middle of the sea, it rains. 4) Some political figures are at it again bickering on social media. You go to work then find out that the roads are dilapidated again and seem to have reached their three-year life span. How do you feel about the local government? 5) Lechon belly is the menu for lunch. You’re starving and you just want to get on with the meal. Then, the server at the counter tells you they ran out of puso (hanging rice). Column B scenarios: 1) You book an Uber/Grab on your way to the airport and the driver is really cool. And surprisingly, the Marcelo Fernan Bridge is free of traffic. You arrive at the MactanCebu International Airport on schedule. 2) You have some friends from Manila and they ask you to take them for some classic street food. All of you go to a pungko-pungko and, just your luck, the ginabot is really tasty and fresh off the fryer. Your friends thank you for an amazing and affordable meal. 3) It’s early in the morning. You open the refrigerator and find nothing for breakfast. You go out and see that a vendor has set up a stall selling puto and sikwate. 4) The barangay captain has issued an order about the trash situation in your area. Surprisingly, the neighborhood has been pretty clean for about a month now. 5) You walk in a pizza place and realize that there’s a band playing. You also notice some art on the walls. You ask the waiter about these and learn that these are products of Cebuano artists. And they’re pretty good, too.
