“I always go for long sleeves paired with dark colored jeans or black pants together with loafers for my daily look since it is appropriate for work and for meetings. I used to dress like a ‘boy’ before with ragged pants, flashy sneakers, long t-shirts and Kanye West-inspired jackets. But I decided to change the way I dressed when I got into the corporate world.” 1 TOP - DOCKERS 2 WATCH - TAG HEUER 3 BOTTOM - TOPMAN 4 SHOES - ALDO

Check out Gio’s style tips:

■ Self-confidence is an internal driving force for remembering who you are and what you stand for. What you wear is how you present yourself to the world. Personality is everything and it boosts your self-confidence.

■ Think carefully about who it is you’re trying to influence and why. When you know this, you can present yourself in a way that focuses on those ideals. Think about who you’re talking to and what would make them trust you.

■ Entering the real world, you’ve got to open your eyes to the inconvenient truth: Books are always judged by their covers. Especially when it comes to first impressions. You need to dress appropriately to show your maturity so you’ll gain the respect and trust of everyone.

■ When you find a shirt or pair of pants that fits well, buy two. This is especially true if the item is on sale and especially if it looks good on you.

■ There are enough reasons to go out and do something and no reason for you not to get up and exercise. If you’re insecure because of your weight, your skinniness, or just in general, you can build confidence through exercise. Not only will your confidence increase, but your health will, too.
