Rogin-E eyes more vibrant Vismin sales
A global pharmaceutical and life sciences company, Bayer Philippines, is eyeing strong growth in the Visayas-Mindanao area.
Following the success of its ManCon event for its Rogin-E product in Manila early this year, Bayer Philippines brand manager Tina Sarmiento said the company is looking to cement its foothold in the Vismin area where demand for consumer health products is growing.
Bayer Philippines recently mounted ManHub Cebu, the regional version of Manila’s ManCon, to raise awareness about Rogin-E, particularly among men.
“There is a growing consumer health market in the Philippines not only among women but also for men, not for vanity but for health and wellness,” said Sarmiento.
Developed by Bayer, Rogin-E is a multivitamin especially formulated for men who want to be on top of their game, at work and at home. It contains Korean Panax Ginseng that enhances physical and mental endurance; Deanol for mental potency, improved concentration and mental agility; and Royal Jelly for youthful vitality.
“Men are workaholic. They have demanding tasks at home and work, among others. Taking multivitamins will help them do that and become successful in all aspects,” she said.
Sarmiento said Rogin-E’s entry into Cebu via the ManHub event signals Bayer’s aggressive entry in the Visayas-Mindanao area.
The Global Wellness Institute estimates that the worldwide wellness industry grew 10.6 percent to $3.72 trillion between 2013 and 2015, while the global economy shrank 3.6 percent.
Rogin-E, Sarmiento said, expects double-digit growth in sales this year. /
