The Cebu Provincial Board (PB) has approved on first, second and third (final) reading the P111.2-million supplemental budget for the 2017 Annual Investment Program (AIP) during its session yesterday.

Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III yesterday said he signed the supplemental budget for various projects/activities (operational expenditures) for the efficient delivery of basic services.

“Subject to your rules, I respectfully request that the Supplementary Annual Investment Program 2 be adopted and approved by your honorable selves,” Davide said in his letter to the PB.

Davide asked the PB that the supplemental budget be taken up during their next session and the resolution ratifying and approving it be passed.

The request of Davide was sponsored by PB Member Miguel Antonio Magpale.

The amount of P1.8 million was set aside for monitoring equipment of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilita- tion Center (CPDRC) and Capitol premises under General Public Services.
