- FMG

The Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) was looking at personal grudge as the possible motive of killing a man who was about to go home from his company in Mandaue City last Wednesday night.

Fedil “Junior” Yocte, a resident of Sitio Upper Lageurta in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City, was killed by two unknown gunmen in Sitio Sudlon, Barangay Maguikay in Mandaue City past 7 p.m.

Yocte was on his way home after his work in Nutri Asia Company in Maguikay.

According to the bystanders in the area, the suspects appeared behind Yocte and immediately shot him.

Yocte suffered a gunshot wound in his nape and was declared dead by one of the responding personnel of Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation.

Two empty shells of .45 pistol were found in the crime.

In an interview, Chief Insp. Mercy Villaro, spokesperson of MCPO, said the suspects possibly planned the killing of the victim.

Villaro said they have no bad records of Yocte and he was not included in the drug watch list.

“It is possible that this case can be related to a personal grudge,” Villaro said in Cebuano.

Closed-circuit television cameras were also far from the area where the victim was shot.

MCPO was still conducting further investigation for the identification of the suspects. /
