LAGUNA'S TREAT FOR ITS 26TH YEAR
Cafe Laguna celebrates 26 years of exquisite Filipino dining experience. The restaurant treated its loyal customers a one-day buffet featuring its best dishes: ginisang mais, lengua estofado, chicken inasal, kare-kare, fresh lumpia, among others. The lunch and dinner buffet was held last Sept. 28 at the Laguna Garden Cafe and all Cafe Laguna branches in Cebu.

As per tradition, Cafe Laguna treated its loyal customers to a one-day-only buffet featuring the restaurant’s specialties such as ginisang mais, lengua estofado, chicken inasal, kare-kare, fresh lumpia and many more. The lunch and dinner buffet was held simultaneously at all Cafe Laguna branches in Cebu. For only P499, guests got to indulge in their favorite dishes from the restaurant.
“You have to be consistent, passionate and genuinely happy in everything that you do, whether it’s cooking or serving the food,” said 75-year-old Julita Urbina, the founder of Cafe Laguna, on its longevity. “You have to constantly improve and make it better—that’s how you keep up with the competition.”
Since the brand’s humble beginnings, the Laguna Group has gained a loyal following among Cebuanos and tourists alike, expanding across the country and even spawning new brands such as Lemon Grass, Ulli’s Streets of Asia and Parilya.
