Affleck apologizes for 2003 misconduct
He came out with a strong statement condemning media mogul Harvey Weinstein, who has been accused of sexual harassment by a multitude of women, but that statement bit Ben Affleck in the ass because of a past misconduct.

used his position of power to intimidate, sexually harass and manipulate many women over decades,” started Affleck’s statement condemning Weinstein. The statement was posted on Facebook and Twitter.
Over on Twitter, a user with the Twitter handle @ naimaism tweeted: “Ben Affleck should’ve just kept quiet. Clearly he wasn’t thinking about his daughters when he left them to gallivant with their nanny.”
@ShaniceBrim then replied: “He also grabbed Hilarie Burton’s breasts on ‘TRL’ once. Everyone forgot though.”
But the alleged victim of the misconduct did not forget.
Hilarie Burton, an actress and former VJ for MTV’s “Total Request Live,” replied to @ShaniceBrim’s tweet: “I didn’t forget.”
Immediately, the internet was teeming with videos of the incident, which happened in 2003 yet.
In the video, Burton was interviewing Affleck, who then stood up and hugged the then21-year-old Burton.
In an episode of “MTV TRL Uncensored Cold Open,” which was also shared online yesterday, Burton talked about the incident with Affleck: “And he wraps himself around me and comes over and tweaks my left boob.”
While Burton was seen laughing in the video, the “One Tree Hill” and “Lethal Weapon” actress said she preferred a “high five” over some tweakage.
“I acted inappropriately toward Ms. Burton and I sincerely apologize,” Affleck apologized on Twitter.
Makeup artist Annamarie Tendler replied to Affleck’s tweet: “I would also love to get an apology from Ben Affleck who grabbed my ass at a Golden Globes party in 2014.”
