Aga is back!
Aga Muhlach is back with “Seven Sundays” after a six-year absence from both the wide and small screens.
He recently sat as judge in “It’s Showtime’s” Ms. Q&A and I immediately concluded that he’s in full throttle to regain his place in showbiz.
He stars in the Star Cinema movie “Seven Sundays” with Dingdong Dantes, Cristine Reyes, Enrique Gil and Ronaldo Valdez, among others.
*** Upon his return to the Kapuso Network last September, Atom Araullo did not waste time in coming up with his first documentary with the GMA News and Public Affairs which he described as “life changing.”
He immediately went on a 10-day expedition across the country to get firsthand information about the Philippine sea and the rich marine lives that thrive in it. Atom was also able to uncover heartbreaking stories of men who venture to cross borders just to earn a living for their families.
*** Philippine folklore has a counterpart to Greek mythology’s cyclops. This mythical giant creature is known in Bataan as Bungisngis for its continuous giggling and laughing.
Drew Arellano’s “AHA! Monster Fest” features the said creature in its Oct. 15 episode.
*** I doff my hat to actress Bela Padilla as a storyteller and screenplay writer for coming up with “Last Night” top-billed by Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga. For once, it veered away from the usual formula where the leads end up in each other’s arms.
The twist was unexpected. Congratulations!
