Foressa Trails is finally opening today. Grab your gear and prepare for a fun-filled, adventure-packed day of outdoor activities as AboitizLand finally opens to the public its outdoor trail within its 300 hectare mountain resort town project.
Head out now to the great outdoor escapade located in Barangay Cansomoroy, Balamban, only 90 minutes away from the city. The whole place was developed by AboitizLand in the hope of providing an escape from the rush of everyday city living.
One of the activities for the opening of the trail is the Salomon X-Trail Run. This will be Salomon’s first-ever Cebu leg despite already having been annually held all over the Philippines ever since 2010. The marathon has been divided into two categories: 11k (Road to Trail Run) and 21k (Mountain Run). The marathon trail includes rough roads, forest trails and river trekking all within Foressa Trails.
Another activity that will also add thrill to outdoor junkies is the Mountain Bike trail ride for professional bikers and junior bikers alike which will be facilitated by MotorAce Philippines. The mountain bike track day is meant not as a competition but a family-friendly activity for bikers, their friends and families to enjoy the lush green and curvy trails of Foressa.
Last but most important, a food market for visitors is going to be set up to showcase Balamban products, from special delicacies to fresh fruits and vegetables.
