What comes to your mind when you hear the word “Indak”?
If you start thinking about a cool, mellow-sounding song about someone caught between two lovers, stop it right there. No, we’re not talking about the song by Up Dharma Down; we’re talking about a different kind of Indak.
Indak: Concert for a Cause is an event organized by the Senior High School students of Don Bosco Technical College–Cebu Inc.
This will be held today, Oct. 20, at the Don Bosco Technical College-Cebu Inc., formerly known as Don Bosco Technology Center. It will start at 5 p.m.
Proceeds from the ticket sales will be used to help meet the needs of underprivileged children of another Bosconian com- munity–Don Bosco Boys’ Home in Liloan, Cebu.
What had started out as a simple performance task for their Humanities subject has now grown into a full-blown, charitable event.
Aside from showcasing the talents of the Bosconian senior high performers, the concert will also showcase famous Cebuano performers, such as Phylum, Missing Filemon, and Bethany.
There are also young aspiring bands that will be performing like Snap, Escaping Reality, among others. The concert will also be featuring dance troupes from different schools.
Tickets are priced at P100 each. Tickets may be bought on venue before the event, or through meetups with volunteers.
