Vina, Chad join concert

- SAM COSTANILLA samcost@yahoo.com

CONCERT. Imagine singer/actress Vina Morales, novelty singer Max Surban and balladeer Chad Borja sharing the same stage in a concert that’s open to the general public. This would be one of the highlights of the Christmas show “Pasiawit: Paskohanong Dalit” that the Sugboanong Musikero Inc. (SMI) will put up on Dec. 2, from 3 to 6 p.m. at SM Seaside Cube Wing Atrium. The show also features several local entertainers that would definitely delight the spectators.

SEC. Happily, the club is now duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Its founding officers always stress that they mean business in unifying all local musicians. By the way, former Cebu City administrator Jose Marie Poblete sits as SMI’s legal consultant.

TOUR. I was one of those that toured the Thai capital of Bangkok for four days courtesy of singing businesswoman Hildi Montesclaros, Ate Ging to her close friends. Joining us were dyHP GSK drama talents, namely, Randy Padayao Suson, Miraluna Flores Tumulak, Ricky Garing, Ingrid Vertudazu, Rannie Rashid Bodomo, Leo Manlanat, Monica Sacedon, Ariel Mancao and Trifon Barillo Morales. Alain, Ate Ging’s eldest son, was also with us.

ATTRACTIONS. Thailand is proud of its many tourist attractions such as the Marine Park, Safari Land and the world’s largest theater. I shall give you a more detailed report on our Thai escapade in a feature article next week. Ate Ging, thank you for our allexpense paid sojourn. Your generosity is beyond compare.
