Marco Polo’s take on this classic Filipino dish is no- fuss and straightforward—tender cuts of pork and chicken coated in a delicious savory sauce. One can get this either a la carte or at the buffet in Cafe Marco. Word of caution: one cup of rice might not be enough.
Mango Cheesecake
The cheesecake is given a proudly Cebuano touch with a luscious crowning of perfectly ripe mangoes. This already indulgent dessert is made more heavenly with a halo of icing and— gasp—a crust made from the famous Malicious Cookies!
Malicious Cookies
What started out as a side for an order of coffee became an award-winning dessert of the hotel. A certain customer who ordered coffee kept asking for the cookies and called it “malicious” because of how addicting these were, hence, the name. Do yourself a favor and try one of these sinful discs loaded with chocolate chips. But don’t expect eating only one because after all, they’re not called malicious for nothing.
