Motor sport enthusiasts will have something to look forward to as Motor Ace Philippines brings the Motor Ace Circuit Racing 20172018 Season.

The local and national riders will start to test their wares as the first leg kicks off on Nov. 26 at the Cebu Kartzone Racetrack in Panagdait, Cebu City.

The race will have seven categories, namely: Beginner Novice, Underbone 130cc, Intermediate Expert (underbone and scooter), Ladies Class, Club Race, Sniper vs Rs 150 vs Sonic and Fuel Injected Scooters.

To encourage more female riders to motor racing, the organizers will prepare a motorbike that they can use on race day.

“For the first leg, we will get 16 female riders. We will provide eight Honda Beat and eight Yamaha Mio 1 for the team (ladies riders),” said Motor Ace PR officer Cleo Lutao.

The event is expected to draw seasoned riders from Cebu and other parts of the country. The beginners are also encouraged to sign up in the event, which is backed by Yamaha, Honda and Kawasaki.

The Motor Ace Philippines will also hold a clinic to teach motor racing techniques and safety etiquette to the beginners and aspiring riders at the same venue on Nov. 25.

The second leg of the race is set on Jan. 14, 2018 followed by another leg on Feb. 18, 2018 and the final leg on March 18, 2018.
