Cebu is known for a lot of things including its grand celebrations, gaining attention from most of the world. Even as the known festivities have passed, there’s still that energetic vibe felt all around through the locals.
Perhaps, it’s these factors that drew world renowned gel polish brand, Gelish, and sister company Morgan Taylor, to debut its Fall 2017 collection here in the Queen City of the South.
Known as the world’s leading gel polish brand, Gelish is known for introducing the world’s first gel polish that applies like lacquer in a bottle and can last for 21 days without chipping or peeling. Its sister company, Morgan Taylor, is just as popular for its long-wearing formula.
The collection is called Matadora and inspired by the rich culture, sights and sounds of romantic Spain emulated through the shades.
Members of the Cebu press had the chance to try out the shades firsthand last Oct. 24 at Salon de Rose’s SM Seaside City Cebu branch.
Transporting one to the streets of Spain, its six eyecatching shades are white shimmer called I’m Drawing a Blanco, mauve nude crème called Mauve Your Feet, orange red crème shade called Don’t Break My Corazón, deep red crème called All Tango-d Up, vampy purple shade called Dance and Sang-ria and navy blue shimmer called Olé My Way. Both Morgan Taylor and Gelish’s version of the Matadora collection are available in Cebu as well as other parts of the county, first, through Salon de Rose’s branches in SM Seaside City, Ayala Center Cebu, SM City Cebu, Gaisano Tabunok Cebu, Robinsons Cybergate Cebu.
