“I’m into the ‘90s style of fashion. I added an embroidered denim bag and red bodysuit to match everything. Fashion isn’t just about the clothes you wear or match; it is also about mixing colors and I love playing with that. Red is perfect to match with every denim hue. For me, a navy color scheme is always in the vibe of the ‘90s; and white, soothing everything in between.”

1 Hairband - H&M

2 Bodysuit - Pull and Bear

3 Bag - Call It Spring

4 Flare denim pants - It was given by my cousin in New York

5 Nude wooden wedge - Charles and Keith

Check out Kathrina’s style tips:

■ Always think of colors to match everything. A little touch of some contrast wouldn’t be so bad. If I find that those colors are too bland, I might not wear them at all. They need to really complement each other when put together. For me, the right colors make you more attractive

■ Another vogue idea that I have is that prints are always paired with plains. You should never go wrong with mismatching that or else you’ll look like a table cloth. For example, if I am wearing stripes on top, I have to make sure my bottom is either plain black, plain white or whatever plain to emphasize the print. Also, about the sizing of your clothes, make sure that the top and bottom are really contrasting; if your top is tight, it is good to pair it with some flare pants.

■ My top three colors when I style are black, white or nude. These colors never go out of style. So when you don’t have anything else to match, just find those colors. They may be basic but they make you look more natural and elegant.

■ Your outfit will never be on point without good posture and of course, confidence. Your style represents you. It’s not just the clothes you wear but how you wear them too and how people would see you personally. Styling yourself helps you boost your self-esteem and is very necessary when you apply for a job.

■ Never forget to keep it simple and fabulous. Have your own kind of style. Trying something new is not a mistake. All kinds of styles are beautiful but it is up to you how you make that style look beautiful. Dress not to impress, but dress to express yourself.
