MAN ARRESTED FOR RAPING TEEN IN SAN REMIGIO

A 24-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl in Barangay Tambongon, San Remigio last Thursday. Police identified the suspect as the cousin of the victim. Authorities said that the girl was jolted from her sleep and allegedly saw the suspect touching her privates past 12 a.m. The victim reported the incident to the police station later that day. She was accompanied by two teachers. A team led by SPO4 Uswaldo Layson arrested the suspect, who will face complaints for rape and child abuse before the Cebu Provincial Prosecutor’s Office.
