ARMED MAN KILLS 1, INJURES ANOTHER IN PUNTA PRINCESA

A man was killed while his companion was wounded after they were shot on Tres De Abril St., Barangay Punta Princesa yesterday dawn. An unidentified assailant shot Eugenio Gonzales, 26, and Ariel Carrabias, 24, while they were walking and talking by the roadside at 3 a.m. Gonzales was killed. Carrabias said the gunman asked them, “What did you say?” Carrabias replied, “Nothing.” After that, the gunman started shooting. Both were rushed to the nearest hospital, where Gonzales was declared dead. The gunman has yet to be identified.
