MAN ACCUSES NEIGHBOR OF STEALING, SHOT

A man was shot dead after he allegedly accused his neighbor of stealing a chicken in Sitio Kanaas, Riverside Banawa, Guadalupe yesterday. The victim, Rogen Canape, 35, was killed by Glenn Cardente, 38. “The gunman allegedly harbored ill feelings towards the victim because the latter accused him of being a theft and he was also not allowed to pass near the victim’s house,” SPO2 Simon Soco of the Guadalupe Police said, adding that Cardente thought that Canape owned a gun so he killed him first instead. Cardente surrendered and will face charges. /
