CURFEW STILL IN EFFECT IN MARAWI CITY
The Philippine National Police is implementing curfew hours, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., and none has so far violated it, said Marawi City Police Chief Ebra Moxsir. The curfew starts at 8 p.m. to give residents time to attend to their last evening prayer, as some of them go to masjids and have to walk home, said Moxsir. Nine villages have been declared “cleared of terrorists presence.”
