- / LQ3

Last September, Rakso Air Travel and Tours, together with Philippine Airlines, hosted a trip to South Korea for tour operators from the Visayas. The traveling guests got a chance to see for themselves the beauty of Korean culture.

Depending on the season, Rakso’s South Korea tour highlights include but are not limited to a visit to these places: Nami Island, Petite France, Garden of Morning Calm, DMZ tour, N Seoul Tower Observatory by lift, Lovelock, Painter’s Hero Show, Yangpyeong Rail Bike, Everland Theme Park, Myeongdong street, Gyeongbok Palace with Hanbok wearing, Passing by the Presidential Blue House and the Cherry Blossom Tunnel.

During the trip, Philippine Airlines Korea GSA (General Sales Agent) took the time to meet and host the visitors from Cebu with a hearty traditional Korean meal. The fellowship was filled with fun stories, as the group further discussed the observation how more and more Filipinos are now flying to Korea. Korean culture has deeply found its way to a Filipino’s lifestyle—from smartphones to pop music.

With this in mind, PAL has currently the most routes between the Philippines and Korea. Cebuanos can now take advantage of this, as there are direct flights from Mactan (Cebu) and Tagbilaran (Bohol) to Incheon (Seoul) daily.

Cebu to Incheon (vice versa) daily flights schedule: CEB-ICN Departure at 00:30 and Arrival at 06:00. ICN-CEB Departure is at 07:30 and Arrival at 11:15.

Tagbilaran to Incheon (vice versa) daily flights schedule: TAGICN Departure at 17:00 and Arrival at 22:45. ICN-TAG Departure is at 02:30 and Arrival at 06:00.

PAL makes sure as well that one’s trip to international destinations like Korea is as fun and hassle-free as possible with these various in-flight-services: Entertainment service via “My PAL Player and Mobile,” free 30 minutes WiFi with “My PAL Wifi” and hot meals.
